The VG6 Gamma 556 is a high-efficiency muzzle brake that reduces felt recoil by up to 70% compared to a bare muzzle, making it one of the most effective brakes available at this price point. The three-port design with large top ports and angled side ports simultaneously vents gases upward and to the sides, managing both muzzle rise and rearward thrust. Machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel with a melonite finish, the Gamma is one of the most durable muzzle devices available for 5.56 applications. The 1/2x28 thread pitch is standard for 5.56 barrels, and the device indexes consistently to the same position with a standard crush washer. VG6 also offers the Gamma in an Epsilon configuration compatible with their blast shield system for reduced side blast.
