The BCM MCMR (Modular Combat M-LOK Rail) in 15-inch configuration is BCM's flagship free-float handguard, designed to BCM's standard of durability for hard military and law enforcement use. The single-piece forged upper rail provides a continuous 1913 Picatinny rail from the upper receiver to the muzzle end of the handguard, eliminating any vertical offset between the upper rail and handguard rail sections. The handguard attaches to a proprietary barrel nut using a double-set-screw system that prevents loosening under recoil. Wall thickness is substantially greater than competing lightweight designs — this is not a featherweight option, but the rigidity is excellent for precision applications. BCM builds the MCMR to withstand military qualification testing.
