Midwest Industries' Combat Rail is a full-length free-float M-LOK handguard designed for drop-in compatibility with standard barrel nuts, making it one of the easier handguards to install without special tooling. The aluminum extrusion is notably rigid for its weight — a function of the thick wall construction and dual-strut design that maintains structural rigidity through the barrel nut interface. M-LOK slots are spaced at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions, and the handguard ships with four M-LOK rail sections for use with legacy accessories. Installation requires a standard armorers wrench and approximately twenty minutes. At under 12 ounces for the 15-inch version, it's a practical choice for general-purpose builds.
