The Cloud Defensive OWL (Optimized Weapon Light) is purpose-built for AR-15 platforms in a way that most universal weapon lights are not — the mounting system integrates directly with M-LOK slots and positions the body low enough that the bezel doesn't extend below the handguard's lower rail, keeping the light protected during prone work. Output is 1,000 lumens in a tight, penetrating beam optimized for momentary activation during threat identification rather than extended use as a work light. The switch is designed to be activated by the index finger of the support hand in a standard grip, with a wire-free integrated tail cap switch as an alternative. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a mil-spec hard coat anodize. The OWL runs on a single CR123A battery and has no strobe mode, consistent with Cloud Defensive's philosophy of removing unreliable or tactically questionable features.
