The BCM Gunfighter Mod 4 is the most popular aftermarket charging handle in the world, having effectively replaced the standard mil-spec handle in the majority of serious AR-15 builds over the past decade. The extended latch is 50% larger than the standard latch, allowing positive manipulation with gloves or from unconventional shooting positions without the two-handed awkwardness of the original design. The latch is still unilateral — it's on the left side only — which keeps the design simple and reliable compared to ambidextrous alternatives. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. The extended throw of the Mod 4 provides significantly better ergonomics over the Mod 3, which has a smaller extension.
